An Inspiring Meeting with Cosmonauts

On September 9, 2025, a remarkable and memorable meeting took place. The event was organized in honor of the 10th anniversary of Aidyn Aimbetov’s spaceflight and left a profound impression on the younger generation.

The meeting was attended by Toktar Aubakirov, the first cosmonaut of independent Kazakhstan, along with other cosmonauts, who shared meaningful stories from their life paths and experiences. They spoke about how they went through the rigorous selection process, as well as the emotions and unforgettable feelings they experienced during their first journey into space.

The staff of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling (MCM) also took part in this significant event, asking questions and engaging in open dialogue with the cosmonauts. The cosmonauts emphasized the importance of young people combining science with sports and continuously working on their personal development.

This meeting became a truly inspiring event, uplifting the dreams of the younger generation and strengthening their belief in the future.
