Meeting and Guest Lecture with Professors from Jagiellonian University
On September 19, 2025, the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management hosted a meeting and guest lecture in Auditorium 225 with professors from the Institute of Geography and Spatial Management, Jagiellonian University (Kraków, Poland), led by Professor Mirosław Mika. The delegation consisted of 7 scholars.
The lectures focused on “The contexts of sustainable tourism development”, addressing current approaches and challenges of sustainable tourism. In addition, the Polish professors presented their scientific research directions, geographical aspects, methodological features, and practical results.
During the meeting, key issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including specialist training, student exchange, joint scientific projects, and prospects for future collaboration.
Such guest lectures have a highly positive impact on the department’s image, strengthen international partnerships, and open new opportunities for the development of scientific and educational potential.
