Leadership Lectures at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism
From September 2, 2025, until the end of the month, a series of leadership lectures are being held at the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, in Auditorium 225. The lectures are delivered by Professor David Lorant from the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (Budapest, Hungary).
The topics of the lectures cover a wide range of issues, including the development of tourism in European countries, sustainable development, tourism policy, and other key aspects of the tourism and hospitality industry.
The lectures were attended by the department’s master’s and doctoral students, who had the opportunity to broaden their knowledge, engage in discussions, and ask questions to the professor regarding current trends in international tourism.
Such academic events foster international exchange, enhance professional competencies, and contribute to the scientific growth of future specialists in the field of tourism.
