International Round Table: ‘Mediation – An Element of Legal and Communication Culture’
On September 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty, 71/27 Al-Farabi Ave., Al-Farabi Library, Conference Room 409), an international round table will be held on the topic: “Mediation – an element of legal and communication culture.”
The event is organized by the Republican Public Association “Union of Mediators and Lawyers ‘Man and Law’” with the support of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation in cooperation with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The purpose of the round table is to promote the development of mediation as an important element of legal and communication culture, to exchange international experience, and to discuss the role of school mediation and the implementation of projects in this area.
The event will be attended by representatives of the scientific and educational community, mediators, lawyers, public figures, and international experts. A substantive discussion is expected, aimed at strengthening the institution of mediation in Kazakhstan and beyond.
Significance of the event:
Mediation is now seen as a modern and effective tool for conflict resolution, contributing to the development of a culture of dialogue, legal awareness, and mutual understanding in society. The international round table will allow for the development of new approaches to the implementation of mediation practices and expand international cooperation in this area.
