New deans of five faculties of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University have been appointed.
Deans introduced the staff to the Chairman of the Management Board, Rector of the University Zhanseit Tuimebayev and wished success in further work.
Following the results of a special competition, the following deans were appointed: Associate Professor Myrzakhan Egemberdiev – Faculty of Oriental Studies, PhD, Associate Professor Timur Imankulov – Faculty of Information Technology, Associate Professor Moldir Duisebayeva – Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.
PhD, Dr. Zholaman Bektemesov was approved for the position of Acting Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics and Candidate of Economics Zhanna Ermekova - Acting Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business.
KazNU Head Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted the importance of implementing the strategic goals of the university and supporting the comprehensive development of students by the new deans. He also expressed confidence that they would work systematically to improve the quality of education and give a new impetus to research work.
