Rector of KazNU met with authoritative foreign scientists-experts

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseit Tuymebayev, held a meeting with foreign scientists-experts who came to participate in the 10th International Scientific Conference “Mathematics, Mechanics and Information Technologies”. 

The event was attended by distinguished guests: Leonidas Sakalauskas, a representative of Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania, Peyman Givi, a scientist from the University of Pittsburgh, Paulo Trigo, a scientist from the Higher Institute of Engineering in Lisbon, Portugal, Sergey Kabanikhin, a representative of the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics, Pierre Domenico Lambert, a researcher from the University of Padua in Italy, and other scientists.  

The meeting focused on the development of ties between Kazakhstani and foreign scientists. 

The head of the university, Zhanseit Kansaitovich, expressed his sincere gratitude to the scientists from the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, Russia, Portugal, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, and Georgia for the large-scale event at KazNU. 

The 10th International Scientific Conference "Mathematics, Mechanics, and Information Technologies" opened the way for discussing and finding positive solutions to problems in the fields of IT, artificial intelligence, mathematics, mechanics, and robotics. Each scientist's report represents a significant amount of work. The initiatives you have proposed are highly relevant at this time. In this context, I invite you to give a leadership lecture at KazNU. I am confident that this will be a very valuable lecture for the university's students," said the Rector. 

In turn, the foreign scientists supported the initiatives announced by the university's leader, and KazNU plans to implement joint research projects with the researchers.
