SDG-11: A University-wide Cleanup Event Held within the Framework of the "Taza Qazaqstan" Environmental Campaign

Our university organized a university-wide cleanup event as part of the "Taza Qazaqstan" environmental campaign. This significant event was attended by approximately 5,000 participants, including faculty members, staff, and students of our institution.

The main goal of the "Taza Qazaqstan"  campaign is to protect the environment and promote ecological awareness to maintain the cleanliness of our country. To achieve this, the university campus – including academic buildings, dormitories, parks, and the stadium – was thoroughly cleaned. In addition, offices, corridors, lecture halls, and auditoriums were also tidied up.

Participants were provided with necessary tools to carry out the cleaning work effectively and safely, including garbage bags, rakes, gloves, and waste collection bins. All collected waste was carefully sorted in accordance with environmental standards and sent for recycling or disposal.

Our university considers ecological sustainability and environmental protection as one of the priority areas of its activities. Going forward, such cleanup events will be held regularly, alongside the expansion of ecological education and practical initiatives.

The cleanup event under the "Taza Qazaqstan"  campaign was not only about cleaning but also served as a collective important activity aimed at raising ecological consciousness and responsibility. The university’s commitment to environmental care remains an integral part of the educational process.
