SDG 8: Students Listened to the President’s Address and Familiarized Themselves with the Country’s Development Priorities

8 september, 2025

Our university students listened to the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to the nation, and familiarized themselves with the new social and economic development directions and tasks set for the coming years. This Address serves as a clear guideline for the development of our country and a comprehensive plan aimed at modernizing all sectors of society.

This year’s Address includes important initiatives aimed at accelerating the country’s development in education, digitalization, innovation, ecology, and social welfare.

Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich stated:
“We do not forget who we were yesterday; we honour our ancient history. Yet we clearly understand that who we become tomorrow depends on our own actions. Therefore, we will always support young people who strive for knowledge and care about the prosperity of our country. All the large-scale work we are carrying out is for the sake of a bright future for the younger generation. It is they who will one day reap the fruits of the transformations being implemented and continue this cause with dignity. Younger generation is rapidly adjusting to the profound changes unfolding globally, especially to the onset of the era of artificial intelligence.”

The students deeply understood through this important Address that they too have a role in contributing to the bright future of our country, and they are determined to support the initiatives raised in the President’s Address and actively participate in Kazakhstan’s development.
