10th International Scientific Conference on “Mathematics, Mechanics and Information Technologies” SDG 4

On September 24, 2025, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the official opening of the 10th International Scientific Conference on “Mathematics, Mechanics and Information Technologies.”

Welcome remarks were delivered by Rector of KazNU, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanseit Kanseituly Tuimebayev, President of the National Engineering Academy of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Tursynovich Zhumagulov, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Professor of Satbayev Kazakh National Research Technical University Aidarhan Zhusupbekovich Kaltaev.

At the plenary session, leading scientists presented their keynote lectures:

• Sergey Igorevich Kabanikhin (Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS) – “Inverse Problems and Machine Learning”;

• Iskander Asanovich Taimanov (Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Sobolev Institute of Mathematics SB RAS) – “Schrödinger Operators with PT-potentials” (online);

• Pier Domenico Lamberti (Professor, University of Padua) – “Spectral Stability and Instability of Steklov Problems on Varying Domains”;

• Peyman Givi (Professor, University of Pittsburgh) – “Quantum-Ready and Quantum-Inspired CFD”;

• Huasheng Wang (Professor, Queen Mary University of London) – “AI-assisted Modelling and Optimization of Condensers with Vapor-Liquid Separation” (online).

The conference provided an important platform for exchanging ideas and discussing modern scientific achievements.

Master’s and undergraduate students of the Department of Plasma Physics, Nanotechnology and Computer Physics attended the conference as listeners.
