SDG 4, 16:Financial Culture – The Foundation of Sustainable Development

At the Higher School of Law, Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a seminar was held to improve students’ financial literacy. The event featured specialists from “Otbasý Bank” JSC, who provided valuable guidance to young people on key concepts and skills in the financial sector.

During the session, bank representatives explained how to effectively manage personal finances, the importance of proper budgeting and savings culture, as well as opportunities for investment and the benefits of government programs. They also offered practical advice on the safe use of banking services.

The meeting was conducted in an interactive format, allowing students to ask their questions and receive comprehensive answers. Experts emphasized that the ability to make sound financial decisions directly impacts the future of every young person, and demonstrated in practice how to open savings accounts and manage funds effectively.
