Leadership Lecture: "Legal Foundations of Advocacy"

As part of mutual cooperation, and at the invitation of the Head of the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law, Doctor of Law, Acting Professor Talgat Tuleuovich Balashov, a leadership lecture was held on October 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Room 405 of the Faculty of Law, for 2nd-year students. The lecture was delivered by Ruslan Daniyaruly Kanseitov, attorney of the ACBA, on the topic: “Legal Foundations of Advocacy.”

In his presentation, Ruslan Daniyaruly provided an in-depth overview of the key aspects of the legal profession: the legal regulation of advocacy, the rights and obligations of lawyers, their participation in judicial proceedings, as well as the role of the bar in safeguarding citizens’ rights and strengthening the rule of law. Special emphasis was placed on the issues of professional ethics and the responsibility of lawyers.

For 2nd-year students, the lecture became an important step in shaping their understanding of the future profession, provided practical knowledge, and motivated them to further study civil and procedural law disciplines.

Such meetings, organized by the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law, contribute to the development of students’ professional worldview, strengthen the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical activity, and foster high standards of professional training for future lawyers.
