Event Dedicated to the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 1, at 3:00 PM in room 200, within the framework of the celebration of the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Senior Lecturer Dana Abdikumarovna Turlykozhaeva from the Department of Electronics and Astrophysics presented her scientific projects to 4th-year students of the “Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications (RET)” program. During the session, the operation of a drone network was demonstrated: students observed drone take-off and landing, principles of remote control, features of data transmission and reception through communication modules, as well as the basics of the navigation system. The practical demonstration included drone flight, maneuvering, and stable landing. In addition, a project on “smart cars” was introduced — small intelligent vehicles controlled via wireless communication, designed for area surveillance and monitoring. These cars employ Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology for motor control and serve as an accessible way to teach students the basics of programming in robotics.
