Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Far East, celebrated Chuseok

Fourth-year students of the Korean Studies Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, organized a festive event dedicated to the Korean national holiday – Chuseok.

The program included presentations on the history and significance of Chuseok, performances of traditional customs, national games, and an introduction to Korean cuisine.

The event provided students and faculty members with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Korea’s cultural heritage. Such initiatives contribute to strengthening intercultural exchange, broadening horizons, and enhancing the professional competence of future specialists.
