Leadership Lecture by Prof. Dr. Ditmar Hilpert: Management Game and a Vision of Science. SDG 4 and SDG 17

On October 1, 2025, at 14:00, the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a leadership lecture within the framework of the Scientific Research Methods course. The session, organized with the participation of the course instructor and researcher, Assoc. Prof. Kunduz Turekhanova, was conducted by Prof. Dr. Ditmar Hilpert (Germany), one of the leading experts in strategic management, innovation, and international marketing.

The lecture was delivered in the interactive format of the “60 Squares Management Game.” During the game, students were able to experience real-life situations requiring strategic thinking, teamwork, and negotiation skills. The activity became not only an engaging exercise but also a valuable tool for understanding how decisions are made under conditions of limited resources. Prof. Hilpert particularly emphasized the importance of linking theory with practice, stressing that an effective researcher and manager must be able to combine analytical knowledge with practical actions.
