Infrastructure renovation continues in the dormitories
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is constantly carrying out renovation work in academic buildings and dormitories to ensure comfortable and safe conditions for students to study and stay.
Plumbing and electrical networks have been updated in student houses, linoleum flooring has been replaced in rooms and halls, and electrical equipment has been upgraded. Additionally, painting and whitewashing works were carried out in the internal facades of the dormitories.


This year, more than 900 doors have been completely replaced in classrooms and halls of dormitories. During the modernization of sanitary facilities, 220 toilets and 285 sinks were installed.

In 2024, 120 refrigerators and 120 electric stoves will be installed in the kitchens of the KazNU campus dormitories. 4,000 mattresses, 4,000 blankets, 4,000 pillows and 4,000 sets of bed linen were purchased and put into use for students. 210 m2 of blinds were installed in the assembly halls, 600 sofas and armchairs were stretched, 130 pouffe were purchased.




All these measures are aimed at improving sanitary conditions, updating infrastructure and creating a comfortable and safe environment for students to live and study.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University pays special attention to the formation of a modern and convenient environment for its students. Work on equipping dormitories with household appliances and bedding will continue.
