Meeting with First-Year Doctoral and Master’s Students

On October 3, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Business at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a meeting with first-year doctoral and master’s students. The aim of the event was to familiarize students with the organization of the educational process, as well as the main rules and requirements for preparing scientific research papers.

During the meeting, recent changes in the regulations for awarding academic degrees were explained in detail. The faculty research coordinators - N. Sh. Syrlybayeva and N. A. Tovma - highlighted the key challenges that doctoral students face in writing their dissertations.

The discussion took place in an interactive format: students received comprehensive answers to their questions and emphasized the practical value of the information provided. Participants expressed their readiness to actively engage in research activities and to strengthen their theoretical foundation.
