 The first-year students majoring in  “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages”, under the guidance of Arailim Akzhigitova, visited the Museum of Rare Books as part of their curator–advisor activities and in line with the Sustainable Development Goal “Peace and Open Society.”

The main goal of the excursion was to broaden students’ spiritual outlook, foster respect for cultural heritage, and promote the values of peace and justice within society.

During the visit, students explored unique exhibitions representing different historical periods:

– The Kültegin era hall showcased the rich heritage and written monuments of Turkic civilization;

– The Alash Orda hall reflected the struggle for independence and the formation of national consciousness;

– The educators’ hall, dedicated to Ybyrai Altynsarin, Shoqan Ualikhanov, and Abai Qunanbaiuly, introduced the great thinkers who laid the foundation of Kazakh enlightenment.

This visit allowed students to appreciate the spiritual and cultural wealth of Kazakhstan and to better understand the principles of justice, equality, and peace. Such events help nurture civic responsibility, intercultural understanding, and tolerance among young people.
