Presentation of the French Center of Al-Farabi KazNU at the Faculty of Physics and Technology SDG 10 and SDG 17

On October 7, 2025, the presentation of the French Center of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took place at the Faculty of Physics and Technology, held in Room 330.

The event was organized as an open session aimed at informing students about academic mobility opportunities and cultural exchange programs with French higher education institutions.

The program included:

• an overview of study opportunities in France, including government and institutional scholarships, double-degree programs, and academic mobility schemes;

• information on conversation clubs and film clubs designed to develop linguistic and intercultural competencies;

• presentation of French language courses supported by the French Center and international partners.

Participants had the opportunity to engage with representatives of the French Center and guests from France, gaining up-to-date information on available grants, internships, and cultural-educational initiatives.

The event contributes to the implementation of:

• SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities: ensuring equal access for students to international educational and cultural opportunities;

• SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals: strengthening academic and cultural cooperation between Al-Farabi KazNU and French educational institutions.

This presentation marked an important step in enhancing international cooperation of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, expanding student mobility opportunities, and fostering an open academic environment based on innovation and intercultural dialogue.
