On October 13, 2025, Senior Lecturer S.M. Zhapakov from the Department of Customs, Finance, and Environmental Law held a charitable event with students from groups 202 and 223 on the topic “Organizing a Charity Event at a Nursing Home and Social Responsibility” within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 3 — ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages, and Goal 10 — reducing inequality within and among countries. The event was also attended by the Head of the Department, Doctor of Science, Professor G.A. Kuanalieva, who contributed by explaining to the students the importance of charity and the role of social support in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Charity is a sincere manifestation of heartfelt kindness and warmth. The students of the Faculty of Law and their curator held an important charitable event at the "Qamqor" social home within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This meeting became a special opportunity to show respect to the older generation and strengthen the continuity between generations.
During the event, the students presented the elderly with essential food products and gifts, as well as organized a small concert. Warm conversations and attention provided spiritual support to them.
The event aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals No. 3 and No. 10 and aims to increase social responsibility and civic engagement among youth.
Showing respect to the elderly is a tribute to the past and confidence in the future. The warm meeting at the "Qamqor" social home left an unforgettable mark on the hearts, strengthening spiritual connections in society and the importance of human values.
