SDG No. 4 – Quality Education for All: Environmental Trip of Law Students

On October 8, 2025, within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 4 – “Quality Education for All”, second-year law students took part in an environmental trip to the “Dostyk” Park.

The event was organized under the guidance of Professor G.A. Kuanaliyeva, Doctor of Law, Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, and PhD Dr. G.K. Rasheva. During the trip, students learned about the importance of caring for nature and fostering environmental awareness.

A discussion was held on the topic: “Regulation of Greenhouse Gases under the Environmental Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.” Professors explained the legal basis of Kazakhstan’s environmental policy, mechanisms for greenhouse gas control, and legal aspects of global climate change.

The main goal of the event was to deepen students’ knowledge in environmental law, promote responsible environmental behavior, and contribute to sustainable development.

At the end of the excursion, students shared their impressions and highlighted the essential role of environmental law in modern society.
