Training Seminar on Supercomputer Use Held at the Higher School of Economics and Business

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University — October 14, 2025 the Higher School of Economics and Business hosted a training seminar for faculty members and doctoral students focused on the effective use of supercomputing technologies in research and education.

The event brought together professors, associate professors, lecturers, and doctoral candidates of the faculty. Participants explored the potential of high-performance computing for solving complex scientific problems, analyzing large datasets, and modeling economic and managerial processes.

The seminar fostered knowledge exchange and enhanced the digital competencies of educators and researchers. The application of supercomputing technologies opens new horizons for science and innovation development at the university, strengthening Al-Farabi Kazakh National University’s position as a leading academic and research center in the region.

The main goal of the seminar was to attract investors to joint projects utilizing the supercomputer’s potential for the development of Almaty city, improving business efficiency, and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives.
