AI projects to be implemented by Iranian universities
Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held talks with Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty Sona Ahmadi.
Zhanseit Tuimebayev wished the Honorary Consul success in his new post and presented the latest achievements of KazNU. In his speech, the rector noted that the partnership relations between KazNU and Iranian universities are developing dynamically today. Nevertheless, it is necessary to further intensify work within the framework of cooperation.
"Al-Farabi Kazakh National University intends to further develop its partnership with Iranian universities. There are many scientists studying the history and culture of Iran in the educational institution. In this regard, I consider it important to publish scientific papers and books of interest to the two countries in the future. In addition, Iran's libraries and archives contain extensive information on Kazakh history. We hope for consular support in the work on data collection, which will allow sending specialists of the Persian language of KazNU to Iran",- said the rector.
In turn, Sona Ahmadi expressed gratitude for the courtesy and made a number of suggestions. "Diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Iran are developing at a high level. Iranian universities and KazNU have great opportunities to implement large-scale projects in the field of artificial intelligence. Significant results can be achieved using joint laboratories in the fields of nanotechnology, chemistry, and physics",- the Consul General said.
In her speech, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty, Sona Ahmadi, made a proposal to hold joint symposiums, conferences and scientific lectures in order to popularize the heritage and works of thinkers and scientists of the two states. In addition, he noted the need to implement an exchange program for teachers and scientists, students under the academic mobility program.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to systematically implement all the proposals voiced at the meeting.
