DemoCuratorial Hour: “Decent Work is A Foundation for Sustainable Development”
On October 15, 2025, the Department of Turkic Studies and Language Theory held a demo curatorial session with the 3rd-year undergraduate students majoring in “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” The topic of the event was “Decent Work is A Foundation for Sustainable Development.”
The event aimed at discussing fair and safe labor conditions in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, exploring strategies for supporting economic growth, fostering the students’ understanding of professional ethics and sustainable career development.
The event was conducted in an interactive format with discussions held in three languages: Kazakh, Russian, and English. The session not only deepened students’ knowledge about decent work but also helped them develop public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation skills.
