At the swimming Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Egor Popov, a 1st-year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Public Health, won a gold medal in the 100-meter freestyle and fulfilled the standard of the "Master of Sports of international class".
The competition was held in Taldykorgan.
