“The Republic – My Homeland, My Pride!”

On October 17, 2025, the Department of Biotechnology at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology held an open lesson titled “The Republic – My Homeland, My Pride!” organized by first-year students of the Biotechnology educational program.

The event was dedicated to Republic Day. The main goal of the open lesson was to foster patriotic values among students, deepen their understanding of the country’s history and achievements, and strengthen their love for the homeland.

The lesson was attended by teachers, students, and undergraduates of the faculty. Special guests included Associate Professor Anel Adilevna Omirbekova, Deputy Head of the Department of Biotechnology for Scientific and Innovative Work and International Relations, and Acting Professor Bolatkhan Kenzhegul.

The event was organized under the guidance of curators-advisors G.A. Akhmetova and A.Zh. Zhuniszhan. During the lesson, students delivered informative presentations, conducted interactive activities, showed videos, played educational games, and actively engaged with the audience.

The open lesson was held at a high level, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Participants emphasized the importance of Republic Day and highly appreciated the creativity and enthusiasm of the students from the Department of Biotechnology.
