Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the XII Youth Forum of Transport Specialists “Kazlogistics” on the topic “Modern Multimodal Transportation in the Context of Global Changes.”

The forum was held on October 21–22, 2025, at the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev ALT University. The event brought together students and professors from 11 leading universities of the country, as well as representatives of the transport industry and the IT sector.The main focus of the discussions was the development of modern multimodal transportation in the face of global economic and technological changes, as well as finding effective solutions to improve the resilience and competitiveness of transport systems.
On the first day of the forum, October 21, sports competitions in table tennis, chess, and mini-football were held. On the second day, October 22,the official opening of the Youth Forum took place, where teams consisting of four participants from each university competed.
The competition included three main stages. The first round, “Simulation,” involved designing the most efficient route and solving practical case studies aimed at analyzing and addressing real logistics situations.
At each stage, participants completed complex tasks related to logistics chain optimization, route planning, and efficiency improvement. The second and third rounds consisted of quick-response quizzes between team members and team captains.
Based on the results of the XII Youth Forum of Transport Specialists “Kazlogistics,” within the framework of the III Spartakiad, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took 1st place in the chess tournament.
In addition, 3rd-year students majoring in Logisticsdemonstrated excellent results and took 6th place in the overall competition. This achievement highlights the high level of professional training and well-developed logistical thinking of KazNU students.
