The international webinar "Mind, Thinking and Creativity" with the participation of Professor Winston Nagan was held at the Department of International Relations

On March 9, 2016 the Department of International Relations of al-Farabi KazNU has organized the participation of the faculty staff, graduate and doctoral students in the international webinar of the World Academy of Arts and Sciences (WAAS) on "Mind, Thinking & Creativity".

The issues of creative thinking, the effect of international law and emotional component on international relations and sustainable development were discussed during the webinar.

One of the 7 speakers was Winston Nagan, who is a Visiting Professor at the Department of International Relations of KazNU after al-Farabi; he is Professor of Levin College of Law of US University in Florida, a member of the Rome Club, the former Rector and a Chair of the Board of Trustees Council of the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS).

Professor Winston Nagan is a lecturer of two elective courses in English "International legal aspects of the protection of human rights" and "International Law and Globalization" at the Department of International Relations within the Master's program at the Department of International Law. His lectures are open to all and they are of great academic interest not only to students and faculty members of the Department of International Relations, but also attract students from other faculties and Universities.

During his stay at the Department Winston Nagan has already held 3 international round table on the issues of the sustainable development, international law and the world economy.

The lecturers, MA and doctoral students of the Department of International Relations and MA students of the Department of Philosophy and Political Science took an active part in the webinar.
