The Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a curatorial hour on the theme “Republic Day – A National Holiday!” led by the curator and advisor of group "Standardization and Certification (by industry)" Educational Program, Aizhan Kuikabayeva.
The main goal of the event was to explain the historical and spiritual significance of Republic Day, to foster patriotism, respect for independence, and strengthen national unity among students.
During the curatorial hour, students reviewed key milestones in Kazakhstan’s path to independence, watched a video titled “My Homeland – My Pride”, and shared their reflections and patriotic feelings.
The event was held at a high level, enhancing students’ respect for national values and sense of civic pride.
This initiative contributes to the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — particularly SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 16 “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.”
