SDG-17On the Faculty of Journalism, under the UNESCO Chair of Journalism and Communication, a meeting was held with poet and Honored Cultural Figure of Kazakhstan, Almas Akhmetbekuly — the author of the famous poem “The Blue Flag Fluttering”. The event took place on the eve of Republic Day.  Almas Akhmetbekuly is well-known to the public for his poems written in a civic and patriotic spirit. His video, audio, and various types of writings shared in the press and on social media inspire people to value and respect statehood. Today, on the occasion of Republic Day, the poet’s meeting with students will undoubtedly be held in a highly patriotic atmosphere.
