The Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science Received a Delegation from Xi'an Jiaotong University

On October 2, 2025, B.B. Meirbayev, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, received a delegation from Xi'an Jiaotong University (China).

The delegation included representatives of the Center for Asian and European Studies, who expressed interest in establishing academic collaboration with faculty and researchers from the faculty.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for joint research projects, academic exchanges, and international conferences. The guests focused on opportunities for collaboration with the departments of Sociology and Social Work, Political Science and Political Technologies, and Religious and Cultural Studies. Joint research on current issues in society, politics, culture, and religion in the modern world is planned.

Representatives from Xi'an Jiaotong University noted that collaboration with a leading university in Kazakhstan opens up new opportunities for strengthening scientific ties and expanding academic partnerships in the Asian and Eurasian educational space. Following the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in the further development of double-degree education, participation in joint conferences, and the implementation of scientific and educational projects.
