«REPUBLIC DAY - A SYMBOL OF FREEDOM AND UNITY OF A SOVEREIGN COUNTRY» curatorial hour

On October 24, 2025, in honor of the Republic Day holiday, the curator-advisor of the Department of Botany and Agroecology A.Zh. Childibayeva held an open curatorial hour «Republic Day - a symbol of freedom and unity of a sovereign country» with first-year students of the specialty «6B05102 – Biology» (25-15, 25-16).

Republic Day is a national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan, celebrated annually on October 25. A national holiday is a special day that honors the country and land, instilling spirit and pride in the minds of generations. Every nation has its own history, culture, spiritual values, and sacred qualities that led to the formation of the nation. Glorifying these historical periods and revering the past are signs of patriotism and the modernization of public consciousness. Therefore, a national holiday is a significant day because it demonstrates the unity of the nation, the independence of the state, and the high spirit of the nation.

The students realized that every Kazakhstani is a symbol of responsibility for the country's destiny, citizenship, and national unity, and that Republic Day and Independence Day are great days that call not only to remember the past but also to look to the future with confidence and contribute to the country's development.

During the open curatorial hour, students recited poems dedicated to the sovereignty of our country, expanded their knowledge with quiz questions, and at the end of the curatorial hour, they performed the National Anthem, expressing their patriotic feelings and love for their homeland.
