KazNU athlete became Asian champion in kazaksha kures

A 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University named after Aidan Hasenkiza became the Asian champion in kazaksha kures among adults in the weight category up to 48 kg. The competition was held in the city of Turkestan.
The tournament, held at the Olympic Center sports complex in Turkestan, was attended by about 200 wrestlers from 15 countries, including Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, India, Japan, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan.

Earlier, Aydana Khasenkizi won a gold medal at the competitions for the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
