The Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a special event to celebrate the 70th birthday of Professor Gulnara Nadirova

A meeting of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was dedicated to the 70th birthday of Professor Gulnara Nadirova, Doctor of Philological Sciences.

The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Historical Sciences Mirzakhan Egamberdiev. On behalf of the university, the congratulatory message from Rector, Academician Zhanseit Tuimebayev was delivered by the Chairman of the KazNU “Parasat” Trade Union, T. Mekebayev.

The event was attended by veteran faculty members — Professor N. Aldabek, G. Kim, Nabizhan Mukhamedkhanov and colleagues, students, doctoral candidates, and master’s students. In her speech, Professor N. Aldabek reflected on the academic career of Gulnara Nadirova and highlighted her significant contribution to the development of Oriental Studies. The Director of the Center for Arabic Studies, B.Zhubatova, emphasized Professor Gulnara Nadirova’s achievements in science and education, as well as her commitment to training a new generation of scholars. During the event, warm wishes, words of appreciation, and expressions of respect were extended to the celebrant. Participants wished Professor Gulnara Nadirova good health, long life, and continued success in her academic and professional activities.
