Research projects for Sustainable Development were presented

Zhanseit Tuimebayev made a report on the topic" prospects for the development of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and initiatives related to the status of Almaty as the youth capital of the Turkic world".

"The establishment of Almaty as the youth capital of the organization of Turkic states is a historical event that carries not only pride, but also a great responsibility. I am sure that thanks to this status, our city will become not only a spiritual environment for the youth of Turkic-speaking countries, but also an advanced platform for creativity and education, innovation and cooperation. Kaznu is ready to make its contribution through projects aimed at increasing the international prestige of Almaty", - the Rector said.

In addition, Zhanseit Tuimebayev presented innovative solutions based on the scientific experience of University scientists and international experience.

Currently, kaznu conducts a system for monitoring air quality in Almaty by means of Geoinformation technologies and satellite sensing in accordance with international standards. In addition, in order to improve the seismic safety of Almaty, work was carried out to develop a model of earthquake resistance of buildings and infrastructure.

It is also proposed to create Control maps based on an integrated approach and social, economic and environmental indicators to analyze the quality of life in various districts of Almaty.
