On October 30, 2025, the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a legal dictation on the topic: “Republic Day – a National Holiday for All Kazakhstanis.”
The main purpose of the legal dictation was to enhance students’ legal culture, foster civic awareness and patriotic spirit, as well as to improve their legal knowledge and deepen their understanding of the significance of the national holiday, dedicated to Republic Day and the 35th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence.
The legal dictation was conducted by Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor G.A. Kuanaliyeva, Candidate of Legal Sciences T.A. Toktybekov, and Senior Lecturer S.M. Zhapakov.
The dictation was held among students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. During the event, students demonstrated their knowledge of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, state symbols, and the historical foundations of sovereignty, testing their level of legal literacy.
Participants from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences showed high engagement, displaying their civic position, patriotic feelings, and strong sense of legal culture.
At the end of the event, the importance of enhancing legal literacy was emphasized, along with the special role of national holidays in strengthening unity and independence. The participants also took commemorative photos and shared their impressions of the event.
