On October 31, 2025, fourth-year students of the Public Administration program participated in a round table discussion on the topic “Sustainable Urban Development: The Youth Perspective.”

The goal of the event was to discuss the views and proposals of young people on issues of sustainable urban development and to generate new ideas.

Students shared their opinions on topics such as urbanization, environmental sustainability, the “green” economy, and the improvement of urban infrastructure. Participants also explored directions for the development of cities in Kazakhstan, citing examples from global practice.

The round table aimed to facilitate the exchange of ideas, develop critical thinking, and enhance environmental awareness. As a result of the event, students identified ways to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and proposed joint project initiatives.

Such meetings help foster an active civic position among future professionals.
