SDG-4: Stage and Emotions: Students’ Cultural Outing
On November 2, 2025, students and faculty members from the Faculty of Journalism, the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, the Graduate School of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, as well as the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University jointly visited the Gabit Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth. The visit aimed to enhance cultural and spiritual values, foster interest in the arts, and develop aesthetic taste. During the visit, they watched the play «Love is Interesting, Years are Full».
Attending the theater is not only a form of entertainment but also a unique opportunity to ignite young people’s interest in art and culture. Throughout the performance, students witnessed touching scenes about love, friendship, family values, and moral principles. The actors’ sincere emotions, stagecraft, and the life-like dramas of the characters made a strong impression on the audience. Students not only observed the performance but also discussed the meaning of each scene and shared their impressions.
During the visit, students also took commemorative photos with the actors, which further enhanced their interest in the theater. Such cultural events broaden young people’s horizons, help them understand moral values, and positively contribute to the personal development of each participant.
According to the students, the play was not merely entertainment but also a life lesson. It encouraged them to reflect on the importance of love and friendship and on making significant life decisions. This outing contributed to raising their cultural and spiritual awareness and strengthened their appreciation of the arts.
In the future, it is planned to continue organizing theater visits and other cultural events for students, as these activities play an important role in developing young people’s creative abilities and guiding them toward a meaningful life path.
