“Kuretamyr” – The Scientific Foundation of National Spirituality
On November 1, 2025, the International Center for the Study of Scientific and Cultural Heritage hosted the presentation of the monograph “Kuretamyr”, held within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals — “Quality Education” and “Partnerships for Sustainable Development”.
This important academic event was dedicated to exploring the nation’s cultural and spiritual heritage from a new scientific perspective. The ceremony was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor B.B. Meirbayev, Head of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor A.D. Kurmanaliyeva, and Associate Professor, PhD M.R. Baltymova, Deputy Head of the Department for Research and International Cooperation. They officially launched the new publication, emphasizing its scholarly and cultural significance.
The authors – A.Sh. Zhamashev, D. Zhomart, Y.K. Mazhen – presented the main ideas of the monograph, highlighting its focus on the historical, cultural, and religious development of Kazakhstan in the 19th–20th centuries. The work aims to preserve and convey the nation’s collective memory, exploring the continuity of its spiritual and intellectual traditions. The monograph “Kuretamyr” stands as a valuable contribution to national scholarship – a comprehensive study enriched with new data, deep analysis, and historical interpretation.
This event reflects the university’s strategic commitment to advancing quality education, scientific innovation, and international cooperation.
