NIS network scientific project competition

To promote research and cognitive activities among students of the branches of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and to identify and support talented young researchers capable of contributing to the intellectual development of Kazakhstan, two stages of the Network Scientific Project Competition were organized and held.

Staff members of the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University actively participated in the “Engineering” section as heads of the jury. During the first stage (October 13–17), the jury was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Nurdaulet Kalasov, and in the final round (October 28–30) the role was performed by Alibek Zhakypov, Deputy Head of the Department for Research, Innovation and International Relations.

The organizers ensured a high level of preparation and fair evaluation process, creating an atmosphere of productive cooperation.
The event became a vivid example of the synergy between science and education, contributing to the development of a new generation of researchers and advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 and SDG 9).
