KazNU students provided assistance to a large family as part of a charity event

On October 15, 2025, students of group No. 129 PK of the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took the initiative to provide food assistance to the low-income family of Asem Kalgulova, born in 1984 — a widow raising five minor children. The family lives in rented temporary housing and is currently in a difficult life situation.

The charity event was organized with the support of officers from the local police service of the Alatau District Police Department, under the Almaty City Police Department.

As part of the event, the students delivered a set of food supplies and essential household items to the family. The purpose of the initiative was to support citizens in need, while fostering among young people a sense of social responsibility, humanity, and solidarity.

Representatives of the police and the student community noted that such initiatives not only provide tangible help to specific families but also contribute to the development of civic engagement and moral values among future lawyers.

“We believe that helping others is not just a kind act but a manifestation of civic duty and humanity. Such initiatives teach us to take responsibility for the society we live in,” — said the students of group No. 129 PK.

The Faculty of Law expresses its gratitude to the officers of the Alatau District Police Department for their support and assistance in organizing the event, as well as to all participants who demonstrated compassion and empathy.
