An important meeting was held as part of Al-Farabi Week

From November 3rd to 8th, the traditional "Al-Farabi Week" is being held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the week, educational events, meetings, and lectures are held across all faculties of the university.

In this regard, an important meeting was held at the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management on November 4th, 2025. Faculty staff and students met with the director of the Al-Farabi Center, Associate Professor Pirimbek Mukhanbetovich Suleimenov, PhD in Political Science.

During the meeting, Pirimbek Mukhanbetovich noted the importance of Al-Farabi's legacy in modern science and education and discussed in detail the great scientist's approaches based on morality, integrity, knowledge, and virtue. The Al-Farabi Center also provided information on its ongoing research and answered students' questions.

The event was informative, educational, and spiritually beneficial for the students.

Pirimbek Mukhanbetovich conducted a free-form interview with students. This section provided a platform for an open exchange of opinions. Students asked questions about Al-Farabi's legacy, their motivations for pursuing science, and the role of philosophy in modern society.

Specific information about the scientific projects and research areas organized by the Al-Farabi Center was also provided. The scientist encouraged the students to remain in close contact with the center and actively participate in research.

The students were particularly impressed by the event's informative and informal format. This meeting will undoubtedly motivate them to pursue scientific careers in the future.
