The great teacher’s noble legacy stands as an eternal light at the summit of human spirit and wisdom.

On November 4, 2025, at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a profound and enlightening lecture titled «Al-Farabi’s Legacy – The Spiritual Treasure of Human Civilization» was held. The event was organized by the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics within the framework of the “Al-Farabi Week,” dedicated to the 1155th anniversary of the birth of the great philosopher and the “Second Teacher of Mankind” – Abu Nasr Al-Farabi.

The lecture was delivered by Pirimbek Mukhanbetuly Suleimenov, Candidate of Political Sciences and Associate Professor, Director of the Al-Farabi Center. In his address, the scholar revealed the depth of Al-Farabi’s philosophical and scientific thought, emphasizing his exceptional contribution to the development of human civilization. He also provided an in-depth analysis of Al-Farabi’s views on the virtuous society, education, morality, and humaneness, highlighting their relevance in the modern world.
