Scientific seminar “Features of the Scientific Style: Developing Academic Writing Skills”
On November 3, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., the Research Center “Written Heritage and Spiritual Treasure” hosted a seminar by Doctor of Philology, Professor Shadkam Zubaida on the topic “Features of Scientific Style: Developing Academic Writing Skills.”
The purpose of the event was to enhance the professional competence of doctoral students and young researchers in scientific writing, as well as to develop an understanding of the fundamental principles and structural characteristics of the academic style.
During the seminar, Professor Zubaida analyzed the main features of scientific style, including terminological precision, logical coherence, and objectivity of presentation. She shared her experience in applying effective methods of academic writing and cultivating a culture of argumentation. Special attention was given to the correct and ethical citation of sources in accordance with international academic standards.
Participants gained valuable insights into the structural features of scientific style and modern approaches to presenting research results. The seminar contributed to fostering the scientific culture of young scholars and improving the quality of academic communication.
