Career Guidance in the Museum Profession

On October 28, 2025, as part of the «Museologist» student club’s initiative, staff members of the A. Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Aydymbayeva and B. Kussayinova delivered a lecture for first-year students majoring in “Museology and Historical-Cultural Tourism” on the topic «Kazakhstan’s Intangible Cultural Heritage: A Living Legacy Preserved in the Memory of the People».

During the meeting, the experts introduced students to UNESCO’s Representative List and the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding, focusing on the elements inscribed by Kazakhstan. The lecture aroused great interest among the students and became an important step in their professional familiarization with the issues of preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
