Guest Lecture on “Law and Order” at the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

On November 5, 2025, the Department of Civil Law, Civil Procedure and Labor Law of the Faculty of Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a guest lecture on the topic “Law and Order.”

The event was held as part of the discussion and explanation of the key provisions of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Nation titled “A Fair Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, and Public Optimism.”

The guest speaker, Serik Oralbekovich Karabayev, an advocate of the Almaty Regional Bar Association, shared his professional experience with students, highlighting pressing issues of law enforcement practice, and emphasizing the role of advocacy in upholding the rule of law and protecting citizens’ rights.

Students showed great interest in the discussion, actively participated in the dialogue, and asked insightful questions. Such events contribute to the development of students’ legal culture, civic responsibility, and professional competencies as future specialists in the field of jurisprudence.
