A webinar providing information on the Horizon Europe programme was held.

On November 7, 2025, the Department of Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an online webinar titled “Introduction to Horizon Europe Program.”
The main goal of the event was to provide participants with comprehensive information about the European Union’s research and innovation program Horizon Europe and to present international collaboration opportunities for Kazakhstani researchers.

The webinar covered the following topics:

• the structure and main clusters of Horizon Europe;
• consortium formation and participation requirements;
• partner search and proposal submission via the Funding & Tenders Portal;
• potential for participation of Kazakhstani institutions.

The invited speaker, PhD in Geography Shamshagul Mashtaeva, shared her experience in international research projects and gave valuable recommendations.

The event contributed to enhancing the involvement of university researchers in the European research area and strengthening international scientific cooperation.
