On November 7, 2025, the lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages G.A. Orazaeva and M.T. Zhamaldinova held a round table discussion on the topic: “Information and its current state” within the framework of the implementing the university’s project on cooperation with the United Nations and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and the declared Year of AI. The students of the faculties of Philosophy and Political Science, Biology, Law, Chemistry and the students from Italy, Milan; Turkey, Sabangy High School of Istanbul; Malaysia, ABE University of Kuala Lumpur; our countrywoman, who works in one of the department of Google in the USA, the lecturers shared their thoughts on AI. They said that AI is of great importance and also emphasized the need to use it correctly. The students made presentations about AI and talked about its impact on human psychology and the dangers it poses to young people, while students of the Faculty of Law spoke about the legal supervision of the use of AI by society. Genetics students spoke about the advantages of AI in their field, and chemistry specialists spoke about checking the information provided using AI.
