The cultural and spiritual unity of the Turkic countries has strengthened.

SDG-17 Today, on November 4, 2025, at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, within the framework of the 5th International Turkic World Communication and Art Symposium, guests from fraternal countries visiting Almaty came to the Faculty of Journalism and signed a memorandum of cooperation.

On the eve of the opening of the 10th Turkic World Documentary Film Festival in Kazakhstan, the delegation was led by the President of the Turkic World Journalists Federation, Menderes Demir. The delegation included:

The distinguished guests were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, Kanat Äuesbay, Vice Deans Nelya Raushanova and Altın Akynbekova, and Heads of Departments Aigul Ramazan, Oryntai Oshanova, and Aigerim Alzhanova. The meeting took place around a round table.

The parties agreed to cooperate in the fields of journalism, media communication, and film dramaturgy.

At the end of the event, Kanat Äuesbayuly presented all guests with the book “The Virtuous City” by the great philosopher and thinker Abu Nasr al-Farabi.
