Suyunbai Aronula's ten-volume book was presented in KazNU
The presentation of a ten-volume collection of works by the great Kazakh poet, outstanding master of aitys Suyunbai Aronula took place at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
Speaking at the presentation, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev noted the importance of the event dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the national akyn Suyunbai Aronula, which is aimed at preserving the cultural heritage of the people. He stressed that the work on systematization, research and publication of Suyunbai's heritage in ten volumes was carried out by the Zhambyl Scientific Center for Philological Research at KazNU.

The collection includes aitys, tolgau, dedications and poems by Suyunbai, as well as scientific studies devoted to the analysis of his work. The special feature of the publication is not only the publication of works, but also the comprehensive disclosure of their historical, cultural and poetic significance.

"This work is an invaluable spiritual legacy not only for literary critics and young researchers, but also for a wide readership. I am sure that in the future, the study of Suyunbai's work will continue in a new direction". - said Zhanseit Tuimebayev.

In turn, writer, Doctor of Philology, professor, academician of the Kazakhstan Higher School Kanseit Abdezuly noted that thanks to the efforts of Kazakhstani scientists, their hard work managed to collect and publish the creative legacy of Suyunbai Aronula, a master of poetic competitions, performer of heroic epics Otegen, Karasai, Suranshi, Sauryk, who left a mark in the history of the country and the memory of the people.

The presentation was attended by Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Chief Researcher of the UNESCO Cultural Convergence Center Nagashbek Kapalbekuly, Deputy Chairman of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan Kasymkhan Begmanov, Head of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Almaty region Toleuzhan Gumarov and others.


The event ended with a concert program featuring works by Suyunbai Aronula performed by artists of the Almaty Regional Philharmonic.
