Guest Lecture on Developing Legal Culture within the Framework of the “Law and Order” Concept

On November 12, 2025, a guest lecture by Police Captain Dinara Koishybayevna Magzumova, Senior Inspector of the Local Police Service Department of the Bostandyk District Police Department of Almaty, was held at the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the "Law and Order" project.

The event was organized by N.K. Mynbatyrova, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, and the "Memleket Zhane Qukyq Tarikhy" student club.The students were active, asking questions and discussing current issues related to law and security.

The main goal of the meeting was to foster law-abiding behavior among the younger generation, promote an awareness of responsibility for their actions, and clarify current issues related to law enforcement. Dinara Koishybayevna discussed the role of law enforcement in ensuring public safety, youth crime prevention, liability for administrative and criminal offenses (including hooliganism, drug-related crime, and cybercrime), rules of conduct in public places, and personal safety.

During the lecture, the police captain shared examples from her own practice and answered numerous questions from students regarding various aspects of the legal sphere. Particular attention was paid to the consequences of reckless behavior and the importance of upholding the law.

Such meetings strengthen partnerships between educational institutions and law enforcement agencies, and help the younger generation develop a more conscious approach to personal and public safety, as well as a better understanding of the importance of upholding the law and actively participating in creating a safe society.
